A thoroughly deserved retirement announced!
After 35 years of innovative and pioneering work to conserve some of Ireland's threatened mammals, Dr Kate McAney has decided to take her thoroughly deserved retirement. We will certainly miss Kate and her knowledge, expertise and commitment to mammal conservation but we wish her all the best in her next adventures.

The role is home-based in Ireland and the deadline for applications is 5pm on Friday 3 July, 2026.
